While Jura appears to be more intelligent among them, the others seem only to focus on attacking the loved ones of the shinobi they devour, such as Sarada in Hidari’s case. It’s evident that Boruto and Kawaki are more powerful than Naruto and Sasuke, as well as certain Otsutsuki, but they still can’t match the power of the Shinju. This makes the Shinju the most powerful beings in the Ninja world so far, since even those with power equal to an Otsutsuki have been unable to defeat them. This also complicates Boruto’s mission, as there is no longer a clear order of strength.

It’s important to point out that these new adversaries are so powerful that they have reduced most shinobi, who aren’t Otsutsuki, to being merely expendable characters.
