Despite the intensity of her battles against cursed spirits or adversaries, she consistently demonstrates a calm and strategic approach.

Her fixation on wealth raises eyebrows, yet for a substantial fee, she’s ready to eliminate anyone or anything required. Despite her being unpopular due to her self-centered personality, her top-tier sorcery abilities more than compensate. Notably, she studied at Jujutsu High alongside Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto during their tenure there.

Mei Mei tends to steer clear of topics such as politics or affiliations, unless there’s some financial incentive involved. She holds the view that an individual’s worth is tied to their potential for service, a concept she refers to as “service potential,” which greatly influences the people she interacts with. Accompanied by her younger brother Ui Ui, they are known for their synchronized and powerful attacks during battles. Ui Ui admires his sister deeply and regards her as a mentor. In fact, Gojo, a renowned sorcerer himself, has acknowledged Mei Mei’s formidable power and noted that she is difficult to overcome in combat.

As an observer, I noted that Mei Mei’s initial challenge lay in her birth with a less potent innate ability compared to other jujutsu sorcerers. These inherent skills, making up about eighty percent of their prowess, are often referred to as personal cursed techniques within the realm of jujutsu. In close quarters, she wields the axe with lightning speed and remarkable accuracy, as demonstrated during her confrontation with the Smallpox Deity when she managed to burst free from her burial coffin with a single powerful strike. Mei Mei is also strategically minded, employing her birds to scout ahead in missions, ensuring she was always well-equipped and had a battle plan ready. Her quick wit and adaptability have often been crucial, enabling her to outmaneuver enemy strategies and launch successful counterattacks.

Mei Mei’s unique ability is referred to as Black Bird Command, enabling her to imbue malevolent power into ravens and guide them. Simultaneously controlling a multitude of birds, she can also share her vision with them, granting her a broader perspective of the surroundings. One of her potent maneuvers is Bird Assault, where she empowers a raven with malevolent energy, causing it to collide violently into an adversary at tremendous speed, capable of annihilating a top-tier foe with a single strike. Only Sukuna, Kenjaku, and Satoru Gojo have managed to survive this attack. Mei Mei strategically employs her sibling Ui Ui in combat, whose teleportation skill becomes an asset in their joint offensive efforts, making the duo a formidable team.
