When is the BLAST.tv Austin CS2 Major?
The BLAST.tv Austin CS2 Major takes place from June 3, 2025 to the grand finals on Sunday, June 22, 2025. A change this year is that instead of two Swiss stages deciding the eight playoff qualifiers, there will be three Swiss stages involving a total of 32 teams.
The playoffs are set to take place at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, seating a total of 16,223 spectators.

Regional Qualifiers Schedule
The preliminary tournaments, referred to as regional qualifiers, will decide which squads advance to the initial stage of the BLAST.tv Austin CS:GO Major 2. These qualifying events will feature the top-ranked teams (based on Valve Regional Rankings), who have not yet been granted invitations for Stages 2 or 3.

As a gamer, I’m eagerly anticipating my journey at the BLAST.tv Austin CS2 Major, set to kick off from June 3rd to 6th. I’ve made it through the regional qualifiers and I’ll be representing one of the six teams from Europe, six from Americas, or four from Asia-Pacific in this exciting stage!

Playoffs Schedule
The knockout stages for the BLAST.tv Austin CS2 Major tournament are scheduled from June 19th to 22nd. These rounds will feature the top eight teams that qualified through Stage 3.

- Grand Finals: June 22
This format extension makes it the record-breaking longest Counter-Strike Major ever, spanning close to three full weeks in duration.
