In the thrilling world of Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, I’ve found that diving into dungeons is a fantastic way to level up and snag some fresh loot. Once you’ve made an Explorer in Chapter 3, these labyrinths can be accessed using maps, which can either be obtained as rewards or discovered during specific stages.
With an Explorer and a map in your possession, you’ll be able to establish and label dungeons for exploration. In the game Phantom Brave: The Lost Hero, these dungeons consist of multiple floors that are combat encounters. Unlike other games, there is no healing between fights within these dungeons, so it’s crucial to bring along characters with healing and MP restoration abilities. As you advance through the dungeon, you can gather items, gain experience, and enhance the title associated with the dungeon, which in turn will make items and enemies within the dungeon more powerful.
How to Create Dungeons
As an adventurer in Chapter 3, once I’ve unlocked the Explorer role, I can create my own dungeons! This is possible thanks to the Create Dungeon facility that becomes available. By using maps I’ve gathered during my journey, this tool transforms them into fully-fledged dungeons. The type of dungeon created is influenced by both the specific map and the level of my Explorer.
For instance, in the demonstrative video and image provided, you can observe how the Pen Island Map was utilized to construct a Lv 22 enemy-filled dungeon with six different floors. It’s essential to understand that the displayed Enemy Level refers to the difficulty of enemies encountered on the final level of the created Dungeon.
When selecting a map for your adventure, these are the key aspects to take into account:
– The Map Type influences the kind of terrain you’ll encounter and the types of enemies that will appear.
– The Items section gives you an idea of what treasures you might stumble upon during exploration and the rewards you can expect upon finishing the map.
– The Rarity of the Map decides the rarity and level of items found within, the number of floors it contains, and the strength of enemies on the final floor.
In the process of designing a dungeon, you have the freedom to assign it a specific name. This chosen title will appear on every monster within the dungeon as well as any loot distributed by the dungeon, and we’ll delve deeper into that concept in the following paragraphs.
Dungeon Titles, Explained
As a fearless adventurer delving into the depths of a newly-formed dungeon, I discover that each labyrinth comes equipped with a unique title that enhances my stats and offers special effects. The scarcity of the map employed in its construction dictates the title’s rarity, with scarcer maps yielding rarer and more powerful titles. With each level conquered within the dungeon, its title becomes more formidable, amplifying the strength of the foes I encounter and the treasures bestowed upon me. While this increased difficulty adds an extra layer of challenge, the enhanced rewards make it all worthwhile.
