The amusing dating simulator titled “Date Everything” was originally planned to drop on February 14, 2025 (Valentine’s Day), given its romantic connotation. However, today, developer Ray Chase of Sassy Chap Games shared an update on social media revealing a shift in the game’s launch date. The reason for this delay is that the team behind “Date Everything” has discovered that debugging and testing the game, with its vast roster of 100 potential dates, is taking more time than expected.
New Date Everything Release Date
As per Chase’s announcement, the launch date for “Date Everything” is set for June 2025. The exact day within June hasn’t been specified yet. Although it might not share the same romantic connotations as Valentine’s Day, June is still strongly linked with love due to its popularity as a wedding month, earning the phrase “June bride.” This will mark the second delay for this game; it was initially slated for an October 2024 release but was then postponed to Valentine’s Day. Moving the release away from the bustling February could potentially benefit the game.

In his words, Chase (the one working on ‘Date Everything’ together with Robbie Daymond, Amanda Hufford, and others) mentioned that while the game is fully developed, it still demands extensive testing and bug fixing across its numerous routes and choices. He playfully suggested that some of the bugs and glitches discovered during testing might even become a character in the game, humorously nicknamed “Daemon.
In this intriguing game, your character steps into a house where everyday items and ideas transform into human forms. You have the opportunity to pursue romantic relationships with an array of objects such as a rubber duck, a table, a washer-dryer set, and numerous others. The game offers branching narratives leading to three distinct conclusions – love, friendship, or animosity – for each of the one hundred dateable characters. Sassy Chap’s social media has unveiled several characters since the game’s unveiling in mid-2024, with the latest reveal being through a holiday advent calendar. However, many more characters remain unannounced.
Enthusiasm for the game “Date Everything ” has soared since its debut, thanks to its distinctive idea and a vast ensemble of characters voiced by renowned actors like Laura Bailey, Ben Starr, Roger Craig Smith, Neil Newbon, and others. Though the postponement is frustrating, fans can’t help but eagerly look forward to the game when it drops in June. There’s even a chance that the delay could result in additional characters being hinted at before the official launch, which would be an added bonus.
