PS5 Classic PlayStation Themes Will Return
On Twitter/X, Sony expressed their gratitude for the exceptional reception of the temporary PlayStation themes for classic systems like PS2, PS3, PS4. They’ve announced that these themes will no longer be available starting tomorrow.
As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share that Sony has acknowledged the amazing feedback on those unique themes and promised they’ll return! Here’s what they said: “Given the fantastic reaction to these 4 designs, we’re putting in some extra effort to bring back these special themes in the coming months.” So, keep your eyes peeled, gamers!
We’re unsure exactly when these themes will return to our consoles again, but I’m crossing my fingers for a quick comeback because I can’t stand the thought of powering up my PS5 without hearing that nostalgic PS1 startup sound.
If you’ve been waiting for new themes from Sony, I regret to inform you that it appears they won’t be making any more. However, in the same announcement, Sony expressed their enthusiasm to continue honoring classic PlayStation hardware alongside you all.
On the PS4, there were numerous options for themes, both official and user-created, enabling us to tailor the appearance of our console’s dashboard according to our personal preferences.
We can probably expect a new PS5 system update for when these are re-integrated within the year.
