Once stealth is compromised, these recruited dogs will aggressively attack enemy targets.
If the Ghost of Yotei provides players with a wolf ally, it aligns well to adopt a system similar to Tsushima’s Canine Recruitment Charm. This would enable the wolf to trail Atsu during stealth operations and support her in battles. To enhance this interaction in Ghost of Yotei, players could be given the ability to command their canine companion, offering additional chances for strategic decision-making, not only in stealth but also during open conflicts.
Enhancing the depth of this mechanic could be achieved by setting aside a part of the skill tree in “Ghost of Yotei” for Atsu’s wolf companion. In the expansive world of “Ghost of Tsushima”, you’d often encounter a vibrant assortment of creatures, some even assisting the player in their journey. Coming across a Fox Den in this game would cause a fox to emerge. This fox served as a guide, leading players towards an Inari Shrine. The discovery of the Inari Shrine would expand the number of slots available for the player to use Charms. Similarly, Golden Songbirds functioned as navigational tools, guiding players to previously undiscovered locations nearby.
The hypothetical wolf associate of the Ghost of Yotei might follow the pattern set by the animals in Ghost of Tsushima, assisting Atsu in discovering hidden treasures and participating in open-world adventures while exploring the game’s vast environment.
