In a recent announcement, Critical Role unveiled grand plans for their Dungeons & Dragons live-play series, featuring an epic 8.5-hour finale for Campaign 3, a four-part miniseries titled Exandria Unlimited: Divergence, and numerous shows commemorating the stream’s 10th anniversary. Fans can look forward to watching the grand finale of Campaign 3 on February 6, while Exandria Unlimited: Divergence will begin a week later.

As a dedicated gamer, I’m excitedly counting down to the climax of the third Critical Role campaign. Just last week, Bells Hells wrapped up their epic battle against the final boss. But due to the unfortunate fires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has decided to switch things up and host a one-shot charity fundraiser instead of taking their usual break on January 30th. It’s a small change, but it shows the heart behind this amazing game. Can’t wait to see what unfolds!

In the upcoming weeks, we’ll get to see what’s coming next for the live-action role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons, as guided by the popular show, Critical Role. The final episode of Campaign 3 on February 6 will be broadcasted on Critical Role, and it’s a whopping eight-and-a-half hours long. This epic finale for Bells Hells’ story is the longest in the history of Critical Role – and that’s taking into account the live Tale Gate party show airing an hour before the episode starts. Then, on February 10, there will be a special conversation with Matt Mercer, only available on Critical Role‘s Beacon subscription streaming service. Lastly, mark your calendars for Thursday, February 13, as it’s when the first episode of Exandria Unlimited: Divergence will premiere.

In a spiritual follow-up to “Exandria Unlimited: Calamity” and “Downfall”, the story of “Divergence” will unfold, focusing on Earthbound survivors rebuilding Exandria in a post-apocalyptic world after the conclusion of the Calamity. The divine entities known as Prime Deities erect the Divine Gate and depart from the world. For this four-part miniseries, “Dimension 20” luminary Brennan Lee Mulligan returns as guest GM, with notable “Critical Role” players Matt Mercer, Liam O’Brien joined by Celia Rose Gooding, Alex Ward, and Jasmine Don. On March 13, fans can look forward to an “Exandria Wrap-Up”, addressing questions and topics relevant to all three campaigns, as well as the “Exandria Unlimited” episodes.

Due to the recent devastating fires in LA, the broadcast of the Critical Role show had to be rescheduled from its original date on January 9. This was necessary to give the cast time to cope with the aftermath of the disaster. Interestingly, Critical Role announced that they were filming the finale on the very same day the fires broke out. Therefore, viewers might notice the cast changing clothes during the episode, as it was actually filmed on a different day.

Exandria Unlimited: Divergence is drawing to a close just before Critical Role’s 10-year anniversary on March 12th. Fans can anticipate exciting revelations about the live play in relation to this significant occasion, such as the launch date for the fourth season of The Legend of Vox Machina, the initiation of a new campaign, or possibly even a video game based on Critical Role.
