While it is possible to operate a vehicle with damaged tires, you’d likely experience excessive sliding and lose control over the car, making it extremely challenging to compete in a race successfully.

If you’re curious about what I meant by Parking Areas earlier, it’s understandable since they weren’t detailed sufficiently.

Multiple parking spots are dispersed throughout the given map, and you’ll uncover their locations as you drive by them.

By following this, you can discover additional access points to the map as you pass by. To ensure you find them all, try taking a few extended trips around the city’s complete circular route.

This circuit is quite large, yet, you’ll appreciate your decision later when it comes to locating particular opponents more easily, allowing you to quickly join the action right at their heels.

8. Some Opponents Hide In Parking Areas

It’s Not Because They Are Afraid

Regarding parking lots, it’s not uncommon for racers to conceal themselves within them, which can make it challenging to locate and keep tabs on specific competitors.

If you see a ‘greyed-out’ competitor on your list, it’s probably because they’re hanging out in a Parking Zone, and you can only interact with them once you’ve opened that area.

At every Parking Spot you reach, remember to engage with everyone you encounter, since they may provide hints about competing against specific wandering racers. Additionally, certain racers can be challenged more than once for greater rewards.

7. Beware of Crossroads

A Cheap Mechanic

I adore TXR, but it does have a couple of archaic drawbacks, and crossroads are one of them.

As a gamer, I often find myself navigating maps where the path forks quite frequently. Usually, this isn’t a big deal, but during races, it can become tricky. If I happen to veer off towards a different road than my opponent at a junction, we would technically end up with a tie in the race.

From my perspective, I’d say that’s a reasonable rule, but here’s the catch: if you’re ahead in a race and your competitor chooses to lag behind, it results in a tie. Unfortunately, this aspect is largely beyond our influence, but one way to minimize its impact is by avoiding overtaking close to checkpoints.

Should you be near your competitor, you could deliberately reduce your pace to maintain proximity, even though there might be an intention to restart the competition.

At the moment, I find it more engaging to use it, having defeated Cinderella After Midnight with an Automatic Silvia, and all opponents prior to her as well.

As a gamer, I rack up Battle Points (BP) by vanquishing opponents scattered across the game world. However, this valuable currency isn’t infinite; once I’ve bested an adversary, I won’t earn any more BP from them again.

If you find yourself competing with cars that are superior to yours in class, a quick burst of nitrous oxide (NOS) at the beginning of the race could provide the extra boost you need to take an early lead and maintain it throughout.

One intriguing aspect of TXR that isn’t immediately clear is that high-end vehicles don’t come equipped with Nitrous Oxide System (NOS), and they can’t be retrofitted with it either.
