As a die-hard first-person shooter enthusiast, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming installment of the Killing Floor series! Coming out in just a few months, Killing Floor 3 promises to deliver an action-packed experience that’ll keep me on the edge of my seat. The brilliant minds at Tripwire Interactive have officially announced its release date: March 25th, 2025. Can’t wait to get my hands on it!

Simultaneously with the unveiling, the studio also shared several fresh videos. These clips offer a sneak peek into one of the game’s adversaries and a glimpse of the upcoming closed beta test.

Killing Floor 3 Closed Beta Kicks Off In Late February

The closed beta testing for Killing Floor 3 begins on February 20th and ends on the 24th. Registration is currently open, but please note that not everyone who signs up will be selected.

Should you be unfamiliar with this game, allow me to share some key features, as detailed in an email from Tripwire’s public relations department.

Killing Floor 3 Key Features:

Tougher-than-ever Zombies – Players will encounter the most dangerous zombies yet. Each enemy has been upgraded using modern techniques for movement, attack, and artificial intelligence; resulting in faster, deadlier, and more tactical opponents than before.

Versatile Arsenals – Ranging from flamethrowers, shotguns, and swords like katanas, players will possess a wide variety of weapons, each customizable with numerous modifications, gadgets, and abilities to suit their distinct style of combat or bloodshed.

Perilous Destinations: – Gamers plunge into multiple hazardous areas to halt the escalation of the Pandemic. Engaging surroundings empower players with tactical benefits through the use of turrets, ventilators, and lethal devices as traps.

Expanding on its reputation for graphic violence, the M.E.A.T. System is back to offer an enhanced level of grisly action. With new areas for dismemberment and continuous gushing of blood, the game reacts to strikes with a chilling sense of realism.

2091 is the year, 70 years after the happenings in Killing Floor 2. The powerful megacorp Horzine has crafted the perfect army – a horde of bioengineered monstrosities called Zeds. Humanity’s future now hangs precariously as the only line of defense against these demonic beings is the secretive, renegade group Nightfall. This gripping first-person shooter game places you in the role of a Nightfall operative, working alongside up to five teammates to fight through a devastated, dystopian future. You’ll face endless hordes of Zeds, acquire new abilities, and forge your ultimate weapon collection.

As a thrilled enthusiast, I was privileged to catch a glimpse of the menacing Siren, along with the official release date and closed beta details, straight from the creators at Tripwire Interactive!

Since its release in November 2016, Killing Floor 2 has consistently received numerous updates and content additions, even up until last year. Here’s hoping the same degree of ongoing support is extended to Killing Floor 3.

On March 25, 2025, you’ll be able to purchase Killing Floor 3 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The standard version will retail at $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition, priced at $59.99, offers extras like the Shadow Agent Specialist and weapon skin sets, Nightfall Supply Pass, and 1000 Credits. For a premium experience, consider the Elite Nightfall Edition, which includes everything in the Deluxe Edition plus Year 1 Premium Nightfall Supply Pass Access and 3000 Credits.
