The creators of Civilization VII have already signaled that beyond the DLCs Crossroads of the World and Right to Rule, there are additional content expansions in store for the game. Just like they did with its predecessor, the developers aim to continuously update the game, ensuring long-term support. Based on the pattern set by Civ 6, a blend of paid and free DLC can be anticipated, offering players numerous incentives to revisit the game. Moreover, it seems there will be new features, enhancements to gameplay quality, and possibly some unannounced aspects that weren’t quite ready for release at launch, such as team-based multiplayer and a greater variety of map types. Following a fan request, Hotseat multiplayer is also expected to return at a later date.
