According to a new report, the Just Cause movie adaptation has secured Jack Ryan’s writer.
Operation Just Cause Will be Written by Aaron Rabin
According to our sources, it has been revealed that Aaron Rabin, known for his work on shows like Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan and Silent River, is set to write the script for the Just Cause movie. Additionally, it has been confirmed that Ángel Manuel Soto, who has previously worked on Blue Beetle and Amazon’s upcoming The Wrecking Crew, will be directing this film.
Additionally, the report confirms that the title for the forthcoming film will be “Operation Just Cause,” which draws inspiration from the actual U.S. invasion of Panama. At this time, specifics about its release date, cast members, and storyline remain undisclosed.
The first announcement revealed that Kelly McCormick and David Leitch, who have worked on films such as Fall Guy, Bullet Train, among others, have been appointed as producers for the Just Cause movie. They are associated with 87North through a first-look deal with Universal. Additionally, Dmitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg, and Timothy I. Stevenson from Story Kitchen (who are also working on the Sleeping Dogs movie) will serve as executive producers for this film. This team is known for projects like Sonic the Hedgehog and Tomb Raider.
The Just Cause series, created by Square Enix, is a well-liked open-world action-adventure collection. Its main character, Rico Rodriguez, is quite powerful.
