Where is Nikvard in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2? – Magnum Opus Quest

In the game Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, you’ll encounter a mission titled ‘Magnum Opus’ fairly quickly. However, this isn’t a short task – it may stay in your log for quite some duration. It could take numerous hours before you complete it, and there are several stages involved in its resolution.

I’m thrilled to share with you my comprehensive walkthrough for tracking down the elusive Nikvard in Kingdom Come: Deliverance! This tricky fellow can be hard to pin down, but fear not, as this guide breaks it down into simple, manageable steps to help you find him without a hitch.

Finding Nikvard in Kingdom Come

Magnum Opus will be handed to you by the Lower Semine Miller if you follow his quest line.

Henry needs to navigate his way into Trosky Castle to retrieve a secretly stashed book. However, specifics about its location are scarce. As he begins to piece together his mission, Henry devises a strategy to gain entry, but events soon take an unexpected turn for the worse.

After unwillingly gaining entry into Trosky Castle, you’ll discover yourself confronted with your goal, but with scant guidance for your journey. Interacting with the Scribe and some of the castle inhabitants yields little information, and eventually, you learn that Nikvard possesses the book; however, his whereabouts remain a mystery to all.

Where to Find Nikvard for Magnum Opus

Nikvard has the book – that much is obvious.

The red and yellow flag marker is where you’ll find Nikvard in KCD2.

In Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, it appears that the Magnum Opus is situated beyond the castle walls. An unfortunate incident involving Nikvard’s health caused the book to slip from its place and fall into a latrine, subsequently passing through the sewer system before landing on the ground outside the castle.

Placing oneself right next to Nikvard’s deceased body appears unfortunate. From what I’ve gathered, he appeared to be a pleasant individual.

Rest assured, the guard observing close by won’t have any issues with you picking up the book; however, the Miller might make a remark about its unpleasant odor when you return it to him.
