You won’t be able to repair the one belonging to Hello Kitty until you complete a certain quest. The operational machine is situated within Rainbow Reef. Before your character can reach and brew coffee using this machine, they will first need to master swimming and diving skills.

Where to Find Hangyodon
In Comedy Hall, where Hangyodon resides, you’ll find a functioning espresso machine. On your map, look for Hangyodon’s marker, it’s situated in the vibrant Rainbow Reef waters. Remember to equip yourself with flippers and a snorkel to venture into Comedy Hall.
- The Flippers can be crafted with Fins (given to you by Keroppi) and a Strap. You can loot the chest at the end of the dock near Keroppi in Spooky Swamp for the Strap item.
- The Snorkel crafting plans are unlocked when you complete “Deep Diving.” This is a quest that opens up when you reach level 6 friendship with Kuromi. You’ll need x2 Iron Ingot, x2 Spark, and x10 Rubber to make the Snorkel.
Here, immerse yourself in the vibrant depths of Rainbow Reef and step foot into the Comedy Hall. If you haven’t encountered Hangyodon yet, you will here. You’ll find a coffee machine tucked behind the bar on your left. Since the Espresso Machine at Hello Kitty’s is out of commission for now, this one is your go-to. Don’t forget to unlock the fast-travel mailbox situated outside before venturing further, as it will be handy when you need to move around quickly.
How to Use Three Ingredients
Initially, you can prepare coffee/drinks using just two items. If you want to incorporate up to three ingredients, you’ll have to boost Hangyodon’s friendship level to the fourth stage. To speed up his leveling process, present him with Aquatic Material as it serves as a two-heart gift, granting him more experience points and offering you more Candelnuts in return.
To fix the espresso machine at Hello Kitty’s café, you’ll first have to advance Hangyodon up to level 11, which will then grant you access to the related story quest.

How to Unlock Coffee Recipes
In all coffee recipes, there’s an essential ingredient called Candelnut, which can be obtained by presenting gifts to Hangyodon. The rest of your ingredients like strawberries, bananas, or flour can be found in your food pouch. Many characters appreciate the drinks brewed with the Espresso Machine, but Cinnamoroll stands out particularly. Notably, the Chocolate Chai is a special gift valued at three hearts by Cinnamoroll, so it’s worth keeping this in mind if you aim to strengthen your relationship with him.
