VALORANT Esports Lands Sony INZONE Sponsorship for Next 2 Seasons of VCT EMEA

In simpler terms, the competitive division of video game company Riot Games has just revealed that Sony’s gaming equipment brand, INZONE, will serve as the main sponsor for the VCT EMEA league until 2026’s finale. At the Riot Games Arena in Berlin, INZONE-branded monitors will be prominently displayed as the primary screens.

In an official capacity, INZONE has been designated as the “Primary Collaborator and Official Gaming Monitor Partner” for the VCT EMEA league. It’s worth mentioning that INZONE isn’t new to VALORANT sponsorships; it has previously supported the use of its headsets in the VCT. Notably, teams like Fnatic and ZETA DIVISION already have established partnerships with the brand. Moreover, INZONE mentions that Fnatic was instrumental in designing the monitor used on stage, which boasts a distinctive picture mode tailored specifically for VALORANT gameplay.

Under the terms of the partnership, INZONE is set to install INZONE M10S OLED monitors in various areas such as coaches’ rooms, practice spaces, and co-stream rooms, as mentioned in the official statement. Moreover, during match days, these monitors will be prominently showcased at the 1v1 station within the fan zone. The INZONE brand has already been showcased, along with sponsors PaysafeCard and Red Bull, on the broadcasts.

The inclusion of INZONE as a primary sponsor for VALORANT Esports and Riot Games is exciting news for many, but fans are eagerly waiting to find out if and when betting companies might be incorporated. In December, Riot announced that teams in the Americas and EMEA regions could explore partnerships with Riot-approved betting platforms. At the time, Riot clarified that no betting brands would be visible on their broadcasts or social media channels. However, given the success of such partnerships, it’s possible that Riot might revise these rules in the future. Interestingly, back in 2021, Riot had previously restricted TSM from using cryptocurrency exchange partner FTX in their name. Yet, Riot itself secured a seven-year sponsorship deal between the LCS and FTX.
