On February 6, 2025, the controversial football game by EA Sports was added to Microsoft’s subscription service, specifically Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. This marks the second addition for February. Will Madden NFL 25 Ever Reach Xbox Game Pass Standard?
Just like other Electronic Arts games that are offered through Microsoft’s subscription service, Madden NFL 25 is included in the EA Play library. This means it won’t be accessible via the regular XGP Standard plan, so if you want to play it as part of your subscription, you’ll need to sign up for either a PC Game Pass or an XGP Ultimate membership instead.
For the month of February 2025, two additional games have been confirmed for Xbox Game Pass. First up is “Kingdom Two Crowns,” an indie strategy game where players take on the role of a monarch defending their kingdom from monsters. This title was originally released in December 2018 and previously spent a year on Xbox Game Pass until its run ended in December 2021. The third installment in the “Kingdom” series will be succeeded by Obsidian’s fantasy RPG, “Avowed,” which is a day-one release scheduled for February 18th. It’s worth noting that three days prior to Avowed’s arrival, seven other titles such as “Tales of Arise” and “Indivisible” will be removed from Xbox Game Pass.
