The original comic series created by Reiji Miyajima has been transformed into an animated show by TMS Entertainment. This adaptation, accessible on Crunchyroll, has significantly expanded the fan base for this franchise. With the manga continuing, fans are eagerly anticipating how the narrative will unfold and reach its conclusion.

The production team recently revealed a fresh look at Season 4’s visuals, showcasing Chizuru Mizuhara, the first “girlfriend” Kazuya hires, whom he eventually develops feelings for. Sora Amamiya, Chizuru’s voice actress in Japan, mentioned that the characters will grow even closer in the upcoming season, and she is delighted with how far the anime has progressed. When Is Season 4 Coming Out?

Previously mentioned, the fourth season of Rent-a-Girlfriend is set to debut in July 2025. Recent updates suggest that this season will be divided into two segments, or “cours.” At present, we do not know exactly when the second cour will air. However, since the first cour is scheduled from July to September, it’s reasonable to expect the series might resume in January 2026.

Which Arcs of the Manga Will Be Adapted?

In simple terms, the anime has finished adapting chapters up to Chapter 167, which is the start of Volume 20. This suggests that a new season might commence from Chapter 168. If we go by the current pace of the anime, it could potentially cover chapters up to Volume 30 or even Volume 31, considering there are usually two ‘cours’ (parts) in a season.

This implies they will tackle one of the debated segments of the narrative, the Hawaii Trip or Paradise Arc, which surprisingly ranks second among fan favorites (the top spot was filled in Season 3 with the Dream Arc).
