In the 85th episode of Letter from the Producer Live, Final Fantasy 14 unveiled details about Patch 7.2, which is the second significant update for the Dawntrail storyline. Known as Seekers of Eternity, this upcoming patch in Final Fantasy 14 will offer new combat content and introduce two major features that were revealed along with Dawntrail.

In the beginning of the Live Letter broadcast for Final Fantasy 14, Naoki Yoshida, the producer and director, along with Toshio Murouchi, the global community producer, addressed an issue regarding a mod called PlayerScope. They explained that while this mod could retrieve AccountID information from the game files of Final Fantasy 14, it did not disclose sensitive data like passwords or payment details. Yoshida guaranteed that safeguards to secure AccountID information would be implemented in Patch 7.2 and advised against relying on third-party tools when enjoying Final Fantasy 14.

Even though the Crossroads update for Final Fantasy 14 was released in November, there’s another significant update coming up soon. In the 85th episode of Letter from the Producer Live, Square Enix confirmed that Patch 7.2, Seekers of Eternity, is expected to arrive towards the end of March. The broadcast hinted at new main story content such as The Underkeep dungeon and Recollection trial. Additionally, Yoshida and Murouchi announced that one of A Realm Reborn’s optional dungeons, The Sunken Temple of Qarn, will be incorporated into the Duty Support system.

New zones are also on the horizon for Dawntrail, promising a grand conclusion to our journey.
