In Dragon Ball DAIMA, there’s a sense of nostalgia that lingers for most parts of the series. However, things are starting to move faster since all characters have gathered on the First Demon World. Dr. Arinsu and the Majin brothers are poised to obtain the remaining two Demon Realm Dragon Balls, but they might not be the immediate threat for Goku and his team in Episode 17. The equilibrium within Dragon Ball DAIMA has been drastically altered due to the Supreme Demon King Gomah, who now possesses the power of the fearsome Tertian Oculus.

In the recent episode of DAIMA, Vegeta swiftly defeated Gomah’s elite Gendarmerie Force, even rescuing baby Dende. With Degesu now held captive by King Kadan’s troops, Glorio proposed they move towards Tamagami Number One and the final Dragon Ball. However, it’s Dr. Arinsu who currently possesses that wish-granting orb. The speculation about whether Majin Duu is potent enough to overpower Goku or Vegeta has been circulating among fans, but it might just be a prelude to the main antagonist. After undergoing a monstrous transformation with the malevolent Third Eye, Grand Demon King Gomah might have surpassed all others in power within Dragon Ball DAIMA.

Dragon Ball DAIMA: Supreme Demon King Gomah vs. Everyone

As the final episodes of Dragon Ball DAIMA approach, Dr. Arinsu has almost reached Earth’s champions. Earlier in the series, there were signs that Glorio might be working with Arinsu or even unaware of her true intentions, but when they all gather in the courtyard by Tamagami Number One near Gomah’s palace, it remains uncertain whether he knows about Arinsu’s plan. Supreme Kai then steps forward to politely ask if they can use Arinsu’s Dragon Ball to restore everyone to their adult forms, but instead of complying, Arinsu reveals her own wish to make the Demon Realm even stronger and more fearsome.

She suggests her powerful being (Majin) should have a one-on-one match with someone from the other side. If the Majin wins, they’ll get all three Dragon Balls from the Demon Realm. At first, Kuu feels confident, but Arinsu quickly corrects him, saying it will be Majin Duu who fights instead. Goku and Vegeta debate back and forth about who gets to fight, but Bulma steps in to say that since Vegeta recently fought Tamagami Number Two, it’s actually Goku’s turn to battle now. As expected, the match between Majin Duu and Goku turns out to be exciting.

Goku carefully adapts himself to Duu’s unusual fighting method, recalling past encounters with Majin Buu and assessing his own abilities against this fresh adversary. Eventually, he transforms into Super Saiyan, standing toe-to-toe with Duu in a tense stalemate where neither is willing to yield an inch. As Duu prepares another energy attack, a powerful purple energy shot is fired, creating some distance between them.

Up on the highest part of Tamagami Number One’s palace, the freshly changed Demon King Gomah, now titled Supreme, has made his grand entrance. Arinsu and Glorio are left speechless as Neva informs the group that it seems Gomah possesses the Tertian Oculus – an ancient artifact known as the Evil Third Eye, rumored to have vanished during the era of previous Supreme Demon King Abura. Ever the sharp one in this universe, Bulma swiftly identifies it and inquires from Hybis about his missing belt, but he dismisses her query by stating that every eye is essentially the same.

Goku carefully adapts himself to Duu’s unusual fighting approach, recalling past encounters with Majin Buu and assessing the capabilities of his current form against this fresh adversary. Eventually, he transforms into Super Saiyan.

Excited to try out his new ability, Gomah employs his power to collect surrounding stones and construct a unique arena for their upcoming confrontation. Once the ring was built, Vegeta could no longer contain his impatience and charged in for an attack. However, his attacks seemed to have no effect on Gomah. In response, Vegeta transformed into Super Saiyan, intensifying his offensive. At a moment that left even Bulma astonished, Goku proposed they join forces. And so, Goku, Piccolo, Glorio, and Supreme Kai all entered the fray to aid Vegeta against Gomah.

In the heat of the battle, Bulma calls out to Dr. Arinsu for assistance as their group’s offensive seemed to falter. For a moment, Dr. Arinsu hesitated, but soon understood that Gomah’s recent power upgrade had drastically altered the situation. Thus, she instructed both Majin brothers to engage in combat. Even Neva was prepared, deploying Tamagami Number One to fight alongside them. A series of strategic attacks culminated in a unified, colossal blast as the entire group targeted Gomah. However, he countered with a purple energy shield that absorbed and redirected an overwhelming barrage of blasts, causing Goku and Vegeta to lose their Super Saiyan forms.

In a nearly unconscious state, Vegeta recalls there’s an item similar to Senzu Beans in the Demon Realm, while Goku suddenly notices he lost his Revive Bugs at some point during the fight. The battle seems about to end as Gomah immobilizes Goku with an almost lethal blast, but Majin Duu and Tamagami Number One step in, preventing the hit from landing. Unable to hold on for long, they retreat, leaving a momentary gap that Goku seizes. With a powerful effort, Goku breaks free of Gomah’s grasp and prepares for his strongest transformation. As Duu and Tamagami can no longer resist, they depart, allowing the full brunt of Gomah’s blast to strike the newly transformed Goku instead. The Power Pole, a crucial tool throughout this series, is now buried under debris as we eagerly await the clash between the Supreme Demon King Gomah and Super Saiyan 3 Goku in the next episode of Dragon Ball DAIMA.
