Raising the keyboard feet beneath the STRIKE 600 only heightened my typing experience, particularly when combined with its ergonomic keys.
Despite its versatility to function as a conventional keyboard for everyday productivity tasks, the MSI STRIKE 600 truly excels when it comes to gaming. The standout feature, the hybrid 6+N key rollover, significantly outperformed my regular keyboard during intense gaming sessions in titles like “Path of Exile 2” and “STALKER 2,” where the keyboard plays a crucial role in managing various game functions. This feature eliminates the issue of ghosting when multitasking and rapid-fire input sequences, ensuring a seamless gaming experience. Additionally, the quick-access hotkey for the keyboard’s gaming mode profile and its quiet, responsive performance make it an ideal gaming peripheral without causing any disturbance to those nearby.
It’s important to mention that while the MSI STRIKE 600 requires some adjustments and customization beyond its initial setup (particularly if you opt for a different RGB controller aside from MSI Center), the simplicity of these modifications showcases this keyboard as a high-quality accessory that offers a remarkable degree of personalization at a comparatively low price. Using a mechanical keyboard for typing or gaming is an experience that once tried, cannot be easily abandoned, but it often demands a sizable budget. The MSI STRIKE 600 stands out as a gaming keyboard that also functions exceptionally well for typing, and its consumer-friendly pricing makes it an outstanding entry-to-mid-level choice that leaves other affordably priced competitors in the shade.
