Currently, Lost Ark is immersed in its third-anniversary festivities, yet this milestone doesn’t imply a halt in the continuous release of updates. In fact, even as we celebrate, we are eagerly anticipating the arrival of the new advanced class for Wild Soul, slated for launch in February. The Wild Soul possesses an extraordinary ability to metamorphose into ferocious beasts, such as bears or Kumiho, which it uses to launch potent and animalistic assaults against adversaries. Additionally, being a part of the Yoz tribe bestows upon this class the power to summon spirits, like birds or foxes, to join them in combat during battles.
In many instances when a fresh class is introduced, such as the Wild Soul, it has received varied responses in South Korea, and certain matters are still under review. There’s still room for adjustments before its western debut, and there’s no doubt that many players will choose to add this class to their lineup. Recently, Game Rant had a conversation with Matthew Huston, the associate franchise lead for Lost Ark at Amazon Games, regarding this upcoming character.
Introducing A New Class
Huston clarified that the launch timing being near the third anniversary of Lost Ark was entirely accidental, with February 2025 simply appearing as the optimal choice due to recent South Korea release. Western gamers are undoubtedly eager to explore Wild Soul, drawn by its impressive skills and captivating aesthetics.
This Specialist class stands out from others due to its distinctive blend of features. Although opinions on it are varied, I believe many gamers will soon find it worth including in their teams.
The Glaivier class shares a comparable past, having generated high expectations before launch. However, it initially faced some disenchantment within the gaming community. Subsequently, updates have been made, transforming it into a preferred option for numerous gamers, who now include it in their teams’ lineups.
New Progression Events
In addition to the fresh class, players can anticipate regular progression events, similar to past experiences. However, they’re looking to maintain the familiar structure while subtly enhancing it for an even better gameplay experience.
You might anticipate something somewhat familiar, but we’re always striving to make subtle changes or adapt the rewards according to the game’s current situation. We plan to reintroduce a popular event, though it will have some modifications, so stay tuned as we disclose more information in our February update.
The upcoming release in February is generating much anticipation among players, making it likely that these progression events will draw a large number of them to Arkesia. Given that it’s also the game’s anniversary and there are simultaneous celebrations happening, interest in Lost Ark is expected to remain high in 2025, as this popular game continues to dominate Steam without any signs of a decrease in popularity.
