PlayStation State of Play Announced For February 12

Sony has formally declared that it’s time for another PlayStation State of Play broadcast. Lending credence to recent whispers, this special event is scheduled for Wednesday, February 12, starting at 5pm Eastern Time or 11pm Central European Time.

On the PlayStation Blog, the company revealed that the upcoming event will run for more than 40 minutes and will deliver news and fresh insights about exciting games set to arrive on the PlayStation 5.

Sony announced that the show will highlight an original and diverse range of captivating games developed by studios globally, without disclosing which specific games will be featured.

Additionally, during the recent episode of TopMob Weekly, Grant Taylor-Hill mentioned that a fresh game from an upcoming studio is planned to debut at the same event where Sony previously hinted something.

Regarding further developments, it’s hard to say for certain. Given the possibility of additional Xbox games appearing on PlayStation 5, there might be another announcement about an upcoming Xbox game that could make its way to PlayStation. While Halo and Gears of War are popular titles being discussed online, nothing has been officially confirmed as the next games to be released. Potential candidates for revelation could also include Ghost of Yotei and Death Stranding 2, as both are slated for release in 2025.

As usual, TopMob will provide comprehensive updates on the show as it unfolds, ensuring you’re informed about all significant announcements.
