In a different take on English history following nuclear destruction, the game “Atomfall” by Rebellion promises an intriguing glimpse into a devastated post-apocalyptic England in 2025. Despite its theme of disaster, the game’s exceptional quality suggests it will be anything but a catastrophe.
2025 marks a significant period for Rebellion, as they’ve excelled with Sniper Elite Resistance and aim to repeat this success with Atomfall. For me, the RPG genre resonates more as an English writer, but I’m always intrigued by imagining how the country might appear if it’s been flipped by a nuclear disaster – with Fallout being a term that carries familiarity in this context.
Here’s some information about Atomfall, a rough-and-tumble survival game that’s caught our eye. We have details such as its launch date, where to purchase it, and the cost required to start playing.
Atomfall Release Date
The game “Atomfall” will officially launch on March 27. However, if you purchase either the Deluxe or Quarantine Edition, you can start playing as early as March 24, with a 3-day Early Access advantage.
In March, we’re set to launch the fission project, and if plans remain as they are, Atomfall will serve as the second significant release from Rebellion prior to April. Announced back in 2024, it appears that Atomfall has successfully completed its development phase.
We’ll update you if a delay is announced for Atomfall’s release.
Atomfall Platforms
There’s excitement for Atomfall spanning across generations, since it will be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
A strategic approach for a software or game launch would be to ensure it’s compatible with multiple platforms, catering to various generations. This broadens the user base, as more platforms equal more potential users, thereby increasing the chances of achieving success.
Currently, t don’t completely discount the possibility of a future launch if Atomfall becomes successful and the rumored Nintendo Switch 2 lives up to its potential power.
Atomfall Editions & Price
In Atomfall, the Standard Edition costs either $59.99 or $54.99, the Deluxe Edition goes for $79.99 or £74.99, and the Quarantine Edition is a bit more expensive, retailing at $89.99 or £79.99.
You can see every edition and price below for a quick table to refer to.
Atomfall Edition | Price |
---|---|
Standard Edition | $59.99 or $54.99 |
Deluxe Edition | $79.99 or £74.99 |
Quarantine Edition | $89.99 or £79.99 |
Beyond the similarities to Fallout, it’s the aspects of Atomfall that have you particularly thrilled. Might this game mark a fresh franchise for Rebellion to nurture alongside their cherished Sniper Elite series?
