Summary
- Elden Ring Nightreign launches on May 30.
- Some lucky fans can participate in Network Tests to try out the game before launch.
Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have confirmed that “Elden Ring: Nightreign” will be released on Friday, May 30th. This title from acclaimed developer FromSoftware was one of the most unexpected announcements during last year’s Game Awards ceremony. The upcoming game marks the second installment in the “Elden Ring” series and promises to take the franchise in some exciting new directions.
Unlike Elden Ring, which was a vast open-world game inspired by past FromSoftware titles, Nightreign offers a unique blend of roguelike mechanics, class-based playstyles, and battle royale features such as a shrinking map. Players can venture through this world alone or in teams of three, navigating the randomly generated landscape over the span of three game days. The objective is to conquer a challenging final boss at the end of the third day.
The upcoming game titled “Elden Ring: Nightreign” is venturing into new territory with the IP, leaving fans curious about their reaction. Given that Elden Ring is among the highest-rated games ever made, there’s a lot of anticipation surrounding Nightreign. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait much longer as it has been officially announced that Elden Ring: Nightreign will be released on Friday, May 30 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
When is the Elden Ring Nightreign Release Date?
- Elden Ring Nightreign will launch on Friday, May 30 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
A fortunate group of Elden Ring enthusiasts will have the opportunity to experience Nightreign before its official May 30 release. Those who received an invitation can join the Elden Ring Nightreign Network Test, which is divided into five unique segments. The first session starts on Valentine’s Day from 3am to 6am PT, and the second session takes place the same day from 7pm to 10pm PT. The third session will be accessible on February 15 from 11am to 2pm PT, while sessions 4 and 5 will occur on February 6 at the same time blocks as sessions 1 and 2 (3am to 6am PT and 7pm to 10pm PT respectively).
Fans will get a preview of what it’s like to play the classes in Elden Ring Nightreign during the Network Tests, although they’ll only get a glimpse until May 30 when the full game is revealed. It’s possible that there could be another public test before then, but no official announcements have been made yet.
