On February 13, players will get early access to Microsoft’s upcoming role-playing game, Avowed, developed by Obsidian, as part of the Premium Edition, while the standard edition releases on February 18.
As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to share that Obsidian has revealed the official kick-off times for Avowed’s early-access phase! It commences at 10 AM Pacific Time / 1 PM Eastern Time on February 13. For those in London, it’s 6 PM, and in Paris, it’s 7 PM on the same day. For folks on the other side of the globe, Avowed makes its grand entrance at 3 AM in Tokyo on February 14, 5 AM in Sydney, and 7 AM in Auckland. You can find all the release times here.

In summary, “Avowed” comes with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass, but it doesn’t include early access. To get early access, players must purchase the $90 Avowed Premium Edition. However, Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers can opt for a $22.50 upgrade add-on that provides early access and additional perks as well.
Microsoft currently provides a 14-day PC Game Pass trial for just $1. This means people who avail this offer can enjoy playing Avowed at an unbeatable price of only $1. It’s worth noting that Microsoft often withdraws such deals before the release of major games, but as of now, this offer is still available. However, it’s important to note that there isn’t a $1 trial for Game Pass Ultimate at present.
Since the launch of Pentiment in 2022, Obsidian has unveiled its first fresh project. However, it’s important to note that this isn’t the only game in development at their studio; they are also working on The Outer Worlds 2, which is scheduled for release this year as well.
