Directive 8020 is Coming From Supermassive Games on October 2

At the PlayStation State of Play event, Supermassive Games announced the launch date for yet another chilling horror game titled Directive 8020.

In the freshly released trailer for Directive 8020’s new narrative, we get a glimpse into a chilling, mind-twisting game set among the stars. There’s an ominous feeling that something is lurking out there. The tale revolves around a group of survivors, who find themselves under siege on a deep-space colony ship. They are being pursued by something that can mimic them and leave copies behind to trick and trap the originals into deadly traps.

Replication in Space

Similar to other titles in ‘The Dark Pictures Anthology’, the game ‘Directive 8020’ offers numerous playable characters who may meet their end if the player makes an incorrect move or takes too long to decide.

As a gamer, I’d say: Deep in the cosmos, I find myself aboard a spacecraft, 12 light-years away from Earth, following the narrative of Directive 8020. My crew and I were supposed to be asleep in cryogenic hypersleep, but an unexpected crash landing prematurely woke us up, leaving us stranded among the stars.

Check out the freshly released trailer for the latest tale in Directive 8020, initially unveiled by Supermassive Games a couple of months back.

It’s been suggested that Directive 8020 incorporates a greater number of survival horror elements compared to its predecessors. This includes challenging players with puzzle-solving tasks and providing tools for evading or distracting the relentless foes pursuing them.

Per the new trailer, the game stars Lashana Lynch as Brianna Young, one of the ship’s pilots.
