From February 11th, 2025, at 10 AM local time to February 15th, 2025, at 8 PM, I’m stoked because the Beloved Buddies event is happening in Pokemon GO! During this period, a bunch of special Pokemon are going to pop up all over the place. You’ll find them as wild spawns, Raid bosses, and even in Field Research or Collection encounters. Can’t wait to catch ’em all!
At this particular event, some highlighted Pokemon have increased chances for a shinier appearance. This means that players stand a better chance to encounter the elusive odds and find one of these scarce, colorfully altered versions. The featured Pokemon include shiny Diglett, shiny Dunsparce, and shiny Skrelp. Although you won’t always come across these specific Pokémon, your odds of finding them are increased compared to normal situations. By applying Lures, there’s a greater possibility that Diglett and Dunsparce will appear, thereby increasing your chances of stumbling upon one of these rare spawns.
