Unlock the Secret Cameo Bot in Astro Bot’s Tick-Tock Shock Stage!

The game “Astro Bot” continues to impress with a series of free DLC stages released from February to March of 2025, making it the 2024 Game of the Year winner even more rewarding to play. In total, there are five new stages, starting with Tick-Tock Shock.

Just like the other downloadable stages in Astro Bot, the Tick-Tock Shock level offers players a unique Cameo Bot upon completion. Plus, it features an exclusive in-game leaderboard to showcase their fastest time, allowing them to compare their progress with fellow gamers.

How to Complete Tick-Tock Shock

In contrast to the initial five DLC levels for Astro Bot, players won’t have to hurry through Tick-Tock Shock to unlock the Cameo Bot at the end. Consequently, during their initial playthrough, they might prefer to savor the experience and concentrate on understanding the stage layout and reaching the finish line safely rather than rushing.

In the initial part of this game, players will find the tasks quite simple. They should glide down the slope and employ their stopwatches to curb the swift-moving fishes. This action enables them to get to the platform colored red, populated by three electric adversaries. It’s advisable for them to switch off the stopwatch once they’ve crossed over, as doing so prevents them from needing to wait before using it again to handle the subsequent wave of fish.

Following some platforming, players will encounter an adversary from the Slo-Mo Casino stage that throws playing cards. Similar to before, players should wait for it to throw its cards and then quickly use the stopwatch. Afterwards, they can utilize these cards as stepping stones to reach another snow-covered platform. Moreover, this enemy has a distinctive flower petal on it, which players should collect.

If they press jump and Square simultaneously, they’ll soar upwards, enabling them to access the red platform guarded by a spiky red adversary. Subsequently, they must navigate over some slippery ice blocks. To make this traversal easier, they can use their stopwatch to slow down time, much like they did with the fish enemies earlier. As was advised at the beginning of the course, it’s beneficial to turn off the stopwatch promptly, as this will help it cool down quicker.

In this game, players must navigate through, avoiding the pumpkin enemy’s spit seeds and utilizing the stopwatch to cross either one of two pathways. The choice between left or right is up to them, but they should time their movement carefully to reach the other side successfully. Following that, they need to leap over electric foes, employ the stopwatch to decelerate windmill blades, and finally ride a petal from a flower to secure the win.

Tick-Tock Shock Cameo Bot

Completing Tick-Tock Shock, regardless of how fast it’s finished, will grant players the Iron Patriarch Cameo Bot, modeled after Heihachi Mishima from the Tekken series. After that, visiting the Gatcha Lab at the Crash Site will provide them with the Junior Bodyguard accessory, which is a nod to Kuma. It’s important to mention that Heihachi and Kuma aren’t the only recognizable Tekken characters in Astro Bot; a Kazuya Cameo Bot can be obtained in the Birdy Barrage stage as well.
