Days Gone Remastered Upgrade Not Applicable for PS Plus Owners

As a fellow enthusiast, I’m excited to share that if you’ve already got Days Gone digitally or physically, you can snag the remastered version at just $10 through an upgrade! But here’s the catch: if you’re one of the lucky ones who own the game via PlayStation Plus, this offer isn’t applicable for you.

On the r/PlayStationPlus community forum, it’s been noted that the small print of Days Gone Remastered indicates that games redeemed through PlayStation Plus are not eligible for an upgrade. This means PS Plus subscribers need to pay $49.99 to play the remastered version, while those who own a digital or physical copy can upgrade for just $10. Many forum users have expressed their disappointment that they would have gladly upgraded at the lower price, but now that they must purchase the entire game, they’ve lost interest.

At PlayStation’s State of Play broadcast, Bend Studio unveiled that Days Gone: Remastered will become available on April 25, 2025. Constructed specifically for PS5, this updated version offers Tempest 3D Audio, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), DualSense’s tactile feedback, and adaptive triggers. In addition, the game boasts enhanced visual clarity and smoother frame rates across quality and performance modes.

In the upgraded Days Gone, you’ll find fresh modes and enhancements: Horde Assault, a challenging arcade-style survival mode; Permadeath mode, where characters don’t respawn upon death; Speedrun mode, for those seeking speed challenges; an improved Photo mode for capturing stunning in-game moments; and additional accessibility options. For PC players, these new features are available through the purchase of the Broken Road DLC, priced at $10.
