Bloodborne Fans Have Found Hope Again In Elden Ring Nightreign Survey

Summary

  • A survey sent out to those who participated in Elden Ring Nightreign’s network test asked whether fans would play a Bloodborne sequel if one was made.
  • The survey also included the same question for every other FromSoftware game, so don’t get hopes up just yet.
  • Fans are using the survey to make their voices heard though, requesting a remaster or 60fps patch for Bloodborne. Hop to it FromSoftware.

Over the weekend, a major network test for Elden Ring: Nightreign took place, and since it has been confirmed that the game will feature bosses from various Dark Souls games, many Bloodborne enthusiasts were on high alert for any potential hints or references. Although some believe they spotted Lady Maria in the game’s trailer, no definitive evidence was found, causing a bit of disappointment among those fans.

It all quieted down until FromSoftware distributed a survey to participants of the Elden Ring Nightreign network trial, and one specific query sparked excitement among Bloodborne enthusiasts. This intriguing question, initially posted by Twitter user Nightreign Countdown, essentially gauges fans’ interest in playing a sequel to Bloodborne if it were ever created.

Bloodborne Fans Have Found Hope Again In Elden Ring Nightreign Survey

It appears that this situation could easily be fabricated, yet other enthusiasts who were given the survey also spread the question, among them Facebook user David Mortimer and numerous others responding to Nightreign Countdown’s tweet. In essence, it seems authentic, but it might be prudent not to hold excessive expectations at present.

It’s intriguing that FromSoftware has finally acknowledged Bloodborne, but it’s important to note that the survey includes almost all of their previous games and asks if you’d be interested in another installment within that specific series. It even mentions Dark Souls 2, and I believe it’s more likely we’ll witness a meteor impact than receiving a direct sequel for that game.

At a minimum, they’ve posed the question, and this presents an ideal platform for enthusiasts to express their opinions, which they appear to be doing in abundance. In fact, almost every Bloodborne fan who received the survey is taking advantage of the “Additional Comments” section to demand a remaster or a 60fps upgrade. Here’s hoping that these requests are acknowledged and addressed, with Bloodborne’s tenth anniversary just around the corner next month.
