For the month of February 2025, Xbox Game Pass has officially added three additional games to its roster. Although the list for Wave 2 isn’t particularly lengthy this time around, it does boast some highly-anticipated AAA titles that are making their debut on Xbox Game Pass.
In January 2025, Microsoft’s subscription service kicked off with a bang, introducing 13 new games. However, the pace of releases decreased significantly at the start of February, as the Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Wave 1 collection included just four titles.
On February 18th, Microsoft revealed the smaller-than-expected list for this month’s releases, which only includes three games: EA Sports F1 24, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, and Watch Dogs: Legion. These titles were not available on Microsoft’s platform before, so they are all new additions. Prior to these games being accessible to subscribers, the game Avowed will be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate today at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 7pm CET.

On Thursday, February 20th, I’m thrilled to share that two exciting titles are set to arrive: EA Sports F1 24 and Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader! While most games usually become available in the Xbox Game Pass library by 10am PT, EA Play catalog additions often come later. So, for all Formula 1 enthusiasts chomping at the bit to dive into EA Sports F1 24, a little patience will be needed as we eagerly await Codemasters’ racing simulator on February 20th.
On February 25th, Watch Dogs: Legion will conclude this month’s Xbox Game Pass additions, marking its arrival on the service. This third and last installment in Ubisoft’s open-world hacker series follows the footsteps of Watch Dogs 2, which has been accessible via Xbox Game Pass since July 2022. Among the February 2025 Wave 2 offerings, only Watch Dogs 3 will be playable through a standard Xbox Game Pass subscription.
When Will Xbox Game Pass Announce Its March 2025 Wave 1 Lineup?
The upcoming addition to Xbox Game Pass after February is Atomfall. This post-apocalyptic survival game will make its debut on the service on March 27, which means it’s part of the Wave 2 lineup for next month. It’s expected that the list of games joining Xbox Game Pass in March 2025 (Wave 1) will be announced around March 4. This timing is not a coincidence, as Microsoft often unveils new Xbox Game Pass titles on Tuesdays. On a related note, 16 games will be removed from the subscription service by February 28, making this month a substantial reduction for the Xbox Game Pass library.
