Back on February 17th, I was thrilled to discover that an update for the Nintendo Music service had added tracks from my beloved Nintendo 3DS app – StreetPass Mii Plaza. Now, the StreetPass Mii Plaza album within the Nintendo Music app is brimming with a whopping 39 songs that have the power to transport long-time Nintendo 3DS enthusiasts like me back to the days when StreetPass was all the rage.
The built-in application on Nintendo 3DS known as “StreetPass Mii Plaza” facilitated encounters between players’ Mii characters using the StreetPass feature. A blinking green light on the 3DS system indicated when StreetPass was activated, and this action was also mirrored in “StreetPass Mii Plaza“. Popular activities within “StreetPass Mii Plaza” included Puzzle Swap, where players gathered pieces to create images from various Nintendo games like “Super Mario 3D World” and “Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS“. Despite StreetPass no longer being active, fans of “StreetPass Mii Plaza” keep the app going at conventions.
After the release of the soundtrack for Super Mario World on Nintendo Music, music enthusiasts were given another dose of nostalgia. On the night of February 17th, Nintendo Music added a total of 39 songs from the StreetPass Mii Plaza 3DS app to their platform. Now, when users access Nintendo Music on compatible iOS and Android devices, they’ll find the recent releases section featuring StreetPass Mii Plaza. By tapping the icon for this game, they can choose to add its top 20 tracks or download all 39 of them.
Nintendo Music Adds StreetPass Mii Plaza OST
Certain tunes, like the Entrance melody and the Find Mii title song, are playable for up to an hour through the Extended-Playback function. The full soundtrack album of StreetPass Mii Plaza , comprising 39 tracks, offers over an hour and a quarter of music, so make sure you have enough storage space before downloading your preferred tunes.
To play Nintendo Music, a subscription to Nintendo Switch Online is necessary. The Soundtrack of StreetPass Mii Plaza was launched only a few days after Nintendo Switch Online started offering Wario Land 4 from Game Boy Advance on their service. However, it’s important to note that while the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack upgrade is mandatory for using the GBA app on your Nintendo Switch console, it isn’t needed for accessing Nintendo Music.
The Nintendo Music app is stocked with tunes from popular series such as Splatoon and Pokemon, continuously expanding its playlists to cater to a wide range of Nintendo enthusiasts. As for the StreetPass Mii Plaza soundtrack, we eagerly await the arrival of more 3DS game soundtracks in the future.
