Egghead served as a preliminary test for certain crew members like Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji; however, the large majority of the crew still remained untested.

Delving deeper into the world of One Piece, it’s become evident to us dedicated fans that the battles we’ve seen so far are just the tip of the iceberg compared to what Oda has in store for us. The hidden depths will be unveiled when the Straw Hat Pirates show their true mettle in Elbaf, a stage where they’ll prove themselves worthy of being recognized as a Yonko crew. This is the battlefield where fans like me will get a clear snapshot of the level we aspire to reach, mirroring the legendary Roger Pirates.

In the captivating universe of One Piece, I can’t help but sing praises for the legendary Roger Pirates, a crew that truly lives up to the hype. Their strength is such that it puts them on par with the Yonko crews, a comparison that might seem unfair. The Yonko are led by an Emperor, who in turn has three powerful lieutenants. Yet, these lieutenants pale in comparison to the Yonko themselves. For instance, Big Mom was the strongest among the Big Mom Pirates, but even she couldn’t match Rayleigh and Gaban back in Roger’s time. Similarly, Kaido can hold his own against Roger, but pairing King and Queen together wouldn’t stand a chance against either Rayleigh or Scopper Gaban. Simply put, the Roger Pirates are in a league of their own!

In a unique case, the Red Hair Pirates might stand out due to a comment made by Oda through Brannew, suggesting they possess the most balanced crew among those under the Emperors’ rule. However, this is merely theoretical; it remains to be seen whether they can truly measure up against the legendary Roger Pirates in practice.

It’s undeniable that the power of the Roger Pirates was on a unique scale, standing out even among the Yonko of the One Piece world. Roger himself towered above these powerful figures, with only Whitebeard being a match for him. Yet, even his trusted companions, Rayleigh and Scopper Gaban, were forces to be reckoned with, capable of going toe-to-toe with their captain. In essence, this one crew could rival the strength of three Yonko, an uncommon feat in One Piece. Even the fearsome Whitebeard Pirates pale in comparison to the Roger Pirates at their peak. Without a doubt, they are the most formidable crew fans have witnessed in One Piece thus far, a fact that speaks for itself.

Currently, from my perspective, the Straw Hat Pirates are significantly less powerful compared to the Roger Pirates across all levels. Luffy, though strong in his own right, is not yet at par with the strength of the late Roger. The same goes for Zoro; he’s powerful, but he’s no match for Rayleigh at this moment. Sanji, too, finds himself far from Gaban’s current power level. It’s evident to fans that even as a Yonko crew, the Straw Hat Pirates are trailing behind and could greatly benefit from a substantial power increase.

In the upcoming Elbaf storyline, it’s expected that the crew will encounter Scopper Gaban, a former Roger Pirate. As Gaban assesses Luffy, he’ll help identify his weaknesses and guide him towards achieving a higher level of power. Moreover, the Holy Knights, who are exceptionally strong, are currently in Elbaf, with at least four of them present. This suggests that the Straw Hat Pirates will need to significantly increase their prowess to protect the nation from these powerful individuals. Luffy may find himself battling Shamrock, while the rest of the crew will also have to step up and contribute significantly as well.

Everyone wearing the Straw Hat is anticipated to reach a higher power level in Elbaf, and fans are incredibly excited to witness this unfold.

By the time I meet Shanks, Luffy should have matched his strength, which puts him on par with Roger too. Luffy even pledged to assemble a crew surpassing Shanks’, so his comrades, Zoro and Sanji, must be stronger than Ben and comparable to him respectively. The rest of the gang – Robin, Chopper, and others – need to up their game too if they want to make their dreams a reality. Otherwise, it’ll remain just a dream.

Luffy Must Go Beyond Roger

It’s only a matter of time before the Straw Hat Pirates reach the caliber of the Roger Pirates. Since Luffy aims to become the Pirate King, it’s inevitable that he will one day possess the strength to stand alongside greats like Whitebeard and Roger. Even Roger himself predicted that someone would surpass him, making it seem destined for the Straw Hats to accomplish what was once thought impossible.

Although the Straw Hat Pirates have already achieved a great deal, it’s evident that they will eventually surpass the feats of the Roger Pirates. The Roger Pirates reached their peak after discovering the One Piece, whereas Luffy and his crew still face one more challenge to overcome. Unlike Roger, who didn’t attempt to confront Joy Boy or the World Government, Joy Boy tried but failed. However, Luffy must succeed where others have fallen short. In essence, Luffy and his crew are destined to surpass the accomplishments of the Roger Pirates.

In simpler terms, Luffy will become the strongest character in the entire world and throughout history, even surpassing figures like Joy Boy. Meanwhile, Zoro and Sanji will exceed the accomplishments of Rayleigh and Gaban, both esteemed legends. By the end of the story, the Straw Hat Pirates will be operating on a unique level compared to any previous pirate crews. This prediction is grounded in fact. Not even the infamous crew led by Roger could compare to their potential power. The Straw Hat Pirates are destined to save the world and usher in a new era following centuries of hardship. For now, we spectators can only eagerly anticipate their progress.
