In Disney’s Dreamlight Valley, there are numerous charming characters to socialize with. As you work on revitalizing the enchanted valley, you can form friendships with these characters and fulfill their friendship missions. One of the characters you might encounter is Jack Skellington, also known as the Pumpkin King, from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
To access Jack Skellington, enthusiasts need to accomplish the “Something Comes a Knocking” mission. In this adventure, players must locate and retrieve four Nesting Dolls cleverly concealed throughout the valley. However, due to its vast size, discovering these dolls can be quite challenging.
How to Find Matryoshka Dolls in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To progress with the “Something Comes a Knocking” quest, which is a friendship mission for Merlin, players should search for Matryoshka Dolls. This quest can be undertaken once you’ve completed the “Miracles Take Time” quest. In total, you’ll need to locate all four of these dolls. They are as follows:
- Tiny Matryoshka Doll
- Small Matryoshka Doll
- Medium-Sized Matryoshka Doll
- Big Matryoshka Doll.
Unfortunately, the Matryoshka Dolls don’t have permanent positions, making their locations vary among players. However, consistently, one of the dolls is found in the Plaza, whereas the other three may appear spontaneously across various biomes. To clarify, all four dolls are within Dreamlight Valley. Adventurers should note that they won’t encounter these dolls on Eternity Isle or Storybook Vale. Fortunately, each doll emits a glow, making them easier to locate for the players.
Here are all the biomes where players can find these dolls:
- Plaza
- Peaceful Meadow
- Dazzle Beach
- Forest of Valor
- Sunlit Plateau
- Glade of Trust
- Frosted Heights
- Forgotten Lands.
Once you pick up the first doll, your adventure begins. You can immediately chat with Merlin to find out what’s happened or continue searching for more items. Regardless of your choice, players will eventually need to consult with him. Upon doing so, he’ll share that some odd occurrences are happening in Forgotten Lands and hint at a new character joining the storyline.
After locating all the dolls, make your way to the enigmatic Forgotten Lands, keeping an eye out for a tree adorned with a distinctive pumpkin carving. The exact position of this tree may vary, but it’s hard to miss due to its unique decoration. When you spot it, engage with the tree and place the dolls inside one at a time. This action will trigger the appearance of Jack Skellington. Give him a warm welcome, take some memorable photos, set up his home, and chat with him again to wrap up the quest.
