New Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Game Gets Another Major Tease

Hints about the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater video game are still surfacing, and this time they’ve been spotted in a different game by Activision.

On the Grind map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, you’ll find an area reminiscent of a skate park, bearing a logo resembling Tony Hawk’s Pro Skate 1 and 2. The emblem carries an inscription: March 4, 2025.

Interestingly enough, using the format of month-day-year, the month and day correspond to ‘3-4’. This is intriguing because it hints at a potential upcoming remaster in the classic skateboarding series for the same date.

In the past few days, we’ve received another hint regarding the upcoming release of a new video game. This follows comments made by professional skater Tyshawn Jones during an interview, where he mentioned that the game is set to be released soon. Subsequently, eXtas1s has suggested that the game might be secretly launched at its debut, also known as a “shadow drop”.

Back in 2020, I was thrilled to dive back into the world of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater with the remastered versions of the first two games. This masterpiece was crafted by Vicarious Visions, a studio that later transformed into Blizzard Albany after completely merging with Blizzard Entertainment in 2022. There were rumors floating around about another remaster being developed, but unfortunately, those plans were scrapped somewhere between 2021 and 2022.

However, fast forward to September 2024, and Tony Hawk himself sparked excitement in the skateboarding community when he hinted at a promising future for this iconic franchise as it reached its 25th Anniversary. I can’t wait to see what’s next!

Hawk hinted that he can’t reveal more details about the show’s upcoming installments, but confirmed that there will indeed be more episodes coming.
