The nickname for the romantic pairing between characters Sasuke and Sakura from the Naruto universe, known as SasuSaku, had already gained significant popularity among fans long before their relationship was officially confirmed in the series finale. In the subsequent Naruto spin-off, they are parents to a daughter named Sarada.
The relationship between characters Sasuke and Sakura often faces criticism for having too few shared moments, but a fan-written short story by an animator involved with the series called Sekibeing offers some insight into their connection for many fans of the pair. Although this story isn’t considered part of the official canon, it serves as enjoyable reading material and something that many fans may have hoped would be incorporated into the Boruto narrative. This 14-page tale takes place during the adult years of Sasuke and Sakura.
In this brief tale, we follow their journey as they set off from the Leaf Village, ultimately reaching a point where they share a heartfelt, romantic instance.

What’s Next For the Boruto and Naruto Series?
At present, the Boruto anime is taking a break and it seems we’ll have to wait a while longer. This news isn’t great for series enthusiasts. On a brighter note, the Boruto manga continues to unfold with a leap in time already taken. Unfortunately, at this stage, it’s not showcasing many of the cherished old characters, which might disappoint fans who are particularly fond of Naruto.
Fans of the series Naruto will be excited to know that four additional episodes are coming soon, continuing the original storyline. These forthcoming episodes promise to delve into fresh escapades experienced by Team 7, prior to Sasuke’s departure from the group.
