It’s been some time since there was a draft event in Clash Royale, but now, following the launch of Evo Lumberjack, it has returned. Beginning on February 24, the Evo Lumberjack Draft Event will last for an entire week.
Without a doubt, the fresh Evo Lumberjack card steals the limelight, and here’s what you should know about the Evo Lumberjack Draft Event within Clash Royale.
Clash Royale’s Lumberjack Evolution Draft Event, Explained
Fans now get an opportunity to test out an upgraded edition of Lumberjack, which is the newly introduced card in the game following the February update.
In the game, Evo Lumberjack is among the most formidable cards that have evolved. Initially, it functions just like an ordinary Lumberjack, but upon being defeated, it transforms into a spectral version. This ghostly figure packs quite a punch and can cause significant trouble for opponents. Remarkably, when within the range of the Rage spell, this ghost remains active, continuously attacking enemy troops and towers. Additionally, it becomes invisible to enemy units, making it impossible for them to target it directly. If your adversary lacks suitable countermeasures, they may exhaust their elixir attempting to halt its relentless advance.
As a devoted Clash Royale enthusiast, I can’t help but get excited about the Evo Lumberjack Draft Event! Unlike regular matches where I have full control over my deck, in this event, I must craft a new strategy for each battle. Instead of picking cards freely, the game offers me two options for each card, and I must choose one while my opponent gets the other. I make four selections for my deck, and the remaining four cards are the ones my opponent didn’t pick. This unique twist introduces an element of chance that adds an extra layer of strategy and unpredictability to the gameplay.
The cards dealt to you are completely unpredictable. You might receive anything ranging from a P.E.K.K.A to an Inferno Tower. However, you’ll always receive at least one upgraded card such as Lumberjack, Firecracker, or Bats. If you draw a powerful card like P.E.K.K.A or Mega Knight, aim to construct your deck around it using sturdy supporting cards.
If you have the opportunity, I’d recommend choosing the Tornado spell, as it’s incredibly effective against Lumberjack’s ghost. Other smart choices for countering it include inexpensive units like Spear Goblins and Goblin Gang. The Spear Goblins require two elixir, while the Goblin Gang needs three. Although Evo Lumberjack is formidable, relying on him alone won’t guarantee victory. Make sure to use your resources wisely.
