Anna Williams Announced For Tekken 8 as Title Sells 3 Million Copies

Just announced, Tekken 8 has surpassed sales of three million units within a year, setting a new milestone. This popular fighting game is also set to introduce a new DLC character – Anna Williams, a long-standing series character who debuted in the original Tekken back in 1994.

Bandai Namco has unveiled a thrilling preview of the upcoming entrance of character Anna Williams into the game. She’s due to make her appearance on March 31 for those with a pass, while everyone else can expect to see her on April 3.

Blast From The Past

Anna Williams has only recently returned to a Tekken game, appearing as a downloadable character in Tekken 7 and being part of the starting roster in Tekken 6. The announcement of her upcoming appearance in Tekken 8 was made with the release of a three-minute gameplay trailer by Bandai Namco.

At the close of March, Anna Williams is set to make an appearance, and instead of just using her reliable rocket launcher from afar, she’s going to surprise us by also employing it as a close-combat weapon, along with its traditional role as a distant tool.

The video above highlights the timeless rivalry between Anna and Nina Williams, two sisters who have been well-known for their fierce competition for quite some time now.
