Konami And Bloober Working On A New Game After Silent Hill 2 Remake

According to Bloober Team’s recent announcement, the success of SILENT HILL 2 served as a basis for entering into another partnership for a new project. This agreement supports Bloober Team’s strategic goal of growing their in-house development team within a first-party collaboration framework.
Piotr Babieno, head of Bloober Team, expressed his thoughts on the ongoing partnership, stating, “Our teamwork with KONAMI has been incredibly productive, and the success of SILENT HILL 2 is evident. By exchanging knowledge and expertise, we’ve produced top-tier projects together. At present, I can’t disclose much information, but rest assured that fans will share our enthusiasm for our collaboration. We eagerly anticipate the moment when we can unveil something truly remarkable to gamers.
Although they haven’t disclosed the specific game they’re collaborating on, it seems plausible that it could be a reimagining of Silent Hill 3, given the circumstances. What we do know is that Konami will release the game and retain ownership of the project.
In simpler terms, the latest sales update from Konami regarding the Silent Hill 2 remake reveals that they’ve managed to sell around 2 million copies of the game. Given its past popularity, this figure is not unexpected for those who have experienced the original version.

Who knows? Perhaps it’s not just a remake but an entirely new installment in the series!
Besides their partnership with Konami, Bloober Team is also developing a science fiction horror game titled “Cronos: The New Dawn.” This game is slated for release on both consoles and personal computers later in the current year.
