In the Emerald Stair district of the game ‘Avowed’, you’ll encounter a variety of intriguing personalities who may either welcome or pose threats to your character, known as Envoy. As you explore Maxim’s Claim, keep an eye out for a large crater in the ground. A message will appear instructing you to locate the Distressed Animancer, initiating the ‘Sinkhole Stroll’ quest. In this quest, players must assist Old Felipe, who has tumbled into the hole along with his workshop.
Reach Old Felipe in Sinkhole Stroll Quest in Avowed
Adventurers wandering around Maxim’s Claim district within the Emerald Stair region in the game Avowed may stumble upon the Sinkhole Stroll mission. As they traverse Felipe’s Depression, they’ll come across a massive sinkhole. A distress call will reach their ears from deep below. Upon receiving this signal, players will be notified that they have initiated the Sinkhole Stroll quest. Their task now is to rescue the trapped Animancer lurking beneath.
To proceed, lower yourself gradually into the sinkhole until you reach a platform linking to a violet-tinted room. Enter the chamber and you’ll encounter numerous Sporelings. Once you’ve conquered these adversaries, leave the room and carefully slide down the big roots into the sinkhole.
At the base, you’ll encounter a band of foes positioned near the NPC. Defeat these enemies, then engage with the imprisoned Animancer who will unexpectedly turn out to be Old Felipe. He’ll express gratitude towards the Envoy and their team for their timely rescue. But, he’ll have another task for the party to complete.
Retrieve Old Felipe’s Research Notes in the Sinkhole
In simpler terms, the elderly man named Felipe laments that his important wildlife research data from Fior was destroyed when his workshop fell into a hole. As this data is crucial, the Envoy needs to recover it.
After spinning around, you’ll notice a route marked by roots leading towards a purplish-tinted room. Enter the room and locate the item sitting near the staircase. Deliver the notes to Old Felipe along with his research. Once the discussion is finished, Old Felipe will compensate you with some cash, thereby wrapping up the Sinkhole Stroll quest in Avowed.
