In the ongoing Lunar Oracle event within the game Once Human, amassing Rubies plays a crucial role in advancing towards the Crimson Moon reward. Yet, you may have found that this valuable resource accumulates at a significantly slower rate compared to other items, despite being available almost everywhere on the map.

While slaying abnormal and mutated beings continues to be an effective method for rapidly accumulating Rubies, it’s not the sole approach, particularly for players who are just starting out in a new scenario and are at a lower level. Some of these methods provide one-time rewards, while others can be repeated multiple times.

Farm Rift Anchors Without Completing Them

One effective strategy for accumulating Rubies is to locate Rift Anchors teeming with common adversaries. By not completing all the missions within the stronghold or activating the Rift upon arrival, you can repeatedly return and find that these enemies respawn following a logout, thus offering multiple opportunities to collect Rubies.

In the Way of the Winter scenario, the optimal Rift Anchor to farm is Wish Land, situated in the Vena Fjord area. Enter from the south gate and head north; you’ll find a staircase with around 20 zombies huddled together nearby. Delve deeper into Wish Land, and you’ll encounter numerous mutated creatures. Given normal enemies, each time a player farms this Rift Anchor, they can expect to amass more than 50 Rubies. Notably, occasionally, an enemy’s demise will result in the drop of 2 Rubies rather than one.

In other situations, similar to Evolution’s Call and Manibus, there are significant Rift Anchors too, such as Dayton Hospital (5817, -4501) or Monolith of Greed (6002, -4803), located within the Dayton Wetlands, a beginner’s zone.

The altered bus consistently follows the same one-way route, stopping frequently along the way. During these stops, six mutated beings are produced near the bus. This approach for rapidly acquiring Rubies in Once Human, while less productive than Rift Anchor farming, offers an advantage because you don’t have to re-log after each attempt, which can be beneficial.

As I traverse the city, occasionally pausing at bus stops, I also scavenge for various resources scattered around. Sometimes, I stumble upon precious Rubies hidden amongst them, adding a delightful surprise to my adventure.

Spawn Enemies During Lunacy

For advanced players who possess the essential equipment and supplies for boosting Sanity during Lunar phases, consider venturing into a challenging region within your game during those hours. Once there, try chopping down a tree or mining a rock, which may attract nearby enemies, including a powerful elite enemy.

After defeating your adversaries, you’ve got a couple of choices at hand. You could venture off to another part within this region, engaging in similar battles to generate new enemies, which can be somewhat tedious due to travel time, or simply log out and cut down another tree where you are currently located to stimulate enemy respawns instead.

In the game Once Human, this method yields the highest number of Rubies. This is because elite opponents tend to drop more Rubies. Yet, this approach might not be as effective in lower-level zones.
