The Disney Dreamlight Valley has now released its free Tales of Agrabah expansion, where players embark on an adventure with beloved Disney animated characters Aladdin and Jasmine in the bustling market district of Agrabah. Similar to previous updates, the Tales of Agrabah offers a new starting point for the Star Path and numerous exciting rewards for players to unlock within Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Debuted towards the end of 2023 following a lengthy pre-release phase, Disney Dreamlight Valley provides players with an opportunity to create a fantastical domain where characters hailing from various corners of the Disney universe coexist peacefully. The lack of Aladdin and Jasmine has been pointed out by fans, particularly after the arrival of Jafar in Disney Dreamlight Valley, which occurred through the A Rift in Time paid extension that accompanied the game’s departure from early access.

Approximately a week past, Disney Dreamlight Valley declared that Aladdin and Jasmine would be joining the Disney-themed life simulator, embarking on an adventure set in a world inspired by the 1992 animated movie “Aladdin”. As of February 26, 2025, this adventure is now accessible to players across all platforms. Players can now engage with Aladdin and Jasmine in the new Agrabah Market realm, where they’ll assist in uncovering the secret behind a mystifying artifact causing sandstorms to afflict the land. Upon finishing the primary questline, players have the opportunity to invite them into the Valley, thereby unlocking Aladdin’s magic carpet as a possible companion.

Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Tales of Agrabah Update is Live

As a dedicated fan, I’m thrilled to share that in Agrabah, not only do we work together to tackle problems, but there’s also the exciting new Disney Dreamlight Valley Star Path called Oasis Retreat waiting for us! From April 16, 2022, through April 16, 2025, this enchanting journey offers a variety of tasks such as tending gardens, picking fresh produce, cooking delicious meals, and chatting with villagers. Completing these activities will earn you Tranquil Tokens, which can be swapped for an array of 36 captivating cosmetic and furniture items, Moonstone bundles, or unique dream styles for beloved characters like Aladdin and Jasmine! Some standout rewards include a serene Capybara, wicker swings and bathtubs, and personalized celebration styles for Aladdin and Jasmine.

The potential journey set in Agrabah was subtly suggested as early as November, when Disney Dreamlight Valley’s 2025 plan was unveiled, revealing a snapshot of a red fez and Jasmine’s distinctive jeweled choker on a table. Although there haven’t been any formal declarations from developer Gameloft, keen-eyed Disney enthusiasts have undoubtedly spotted other scenes hinting at upcoming updates. For instance, the cheerful visage of the Cheshire Cat suggests an adventure based on Alice in Wonderland during the spring season, and a depiction of Skull Rock indicates that a Peter Pan-themed escapade is in store over the summer months.
