Recenty, Dropout unveiled the title “Dimension 20: Titan Takedown“, a unique Dungeons and Dragons game that features four real-life WWE professional wrestlers as guest stars. Xavier Woods, Bayley, Kofi Kingston, and Chelsea Green delve into this four-part Dungeons and Dragons mini-series, where the worlds of ancient Greek mythology and pro wrestling collide.
The TTRPG actual play series known as “Dimension 20” is produced by Dropout, formerly CollegeHumor’s brand. With over two dozen seasons and diverse themes, rulesets, and player lineups, the majority of which are Dungeons and Dragons games led by game master Brennan Lee Mulligan.
Currently, Dimension 20 is gearing up for its 25th season, but with a grander-than-usual twist. The unique four-part “Side Quest” titled “Titan Takedown” blends the epic world of Ancient Greece with professional wrestling, all set to air starting April 2. In this mythical showdown, our familiar guide, Mulligan, will lead four real WWE superstars – Xavier “Austin Creed” Woods, Bayley, Kofi Kingston, and Chelsea Green – on an extraordinary journey.
Dimension 20: Titan Takedown Details
- A four-part Dungeons and Dragons miniseries airing on Dropout weekly starting April 2 at 4 PM PST
- Greek mythology meets pro wrestling
- Featuring GM Brennan Lee Mulligan alongside WWE superstars as guest cast members:
- Xavier Woods aka “Austin Creed” as Julius Mortem
- Bayley as Thea Kitterloo
- Kofi Kingston as Adonis Thanaformus
- Chelsea Green as Tabatha “Tabby”
In the game “Titan Takedown”, they’re following the rules from the 5th Edition of Dungeons and Dragons. Here, Woods has created a character named Julius Mortem, who is a Monk, while Kingston has crafted a character of an unspecified class that appears to be human, but with a regal air about him. Bayley’s character is Thea Kittleroo, a Minotaur Barbarian, and Green’s character is Tabatha, also known as “Tabby”, who is a cat-like Tabaxi Rogue and quite the charismatic femme fatale.
Starting from April 2 at 4 PM PST, the debut of Titan Takedown is set to air. Each subsequent episode will follow every Wednesday, wrapping up on April 23. As a regular tradition, there’ll be an Adventuring Party discussion right after each episode, every Thursday. The premiere can be watched free of charge on YouTube as early as April 7, however, the following three episodes will only be available on Dropout streaming service until further notice.
Information about the forthcoming Dimension 20 series is scant, but the Titan Takedown FAQ has given us a hint. The upcoming Season 26 will feature the Intrepid Heroes, which include regular cast members Emily Axford, Ally Beardsley, Brian Murphy, Zac Oyama, Siobhan Thompson, and Lou Wilson, with Mulligan as the Game Master. However, the specific setting for this season remains a mystery. The new season could potentially be a continuation of popular Dimension 20 campaigns such as Fantasy High, Starstruck Odyssey, or The Unsleeping City, or it could introduce an entirely new story in a fresh universe. Fans can anticipate the release of a Season 26 trailer sometime towards the end of April or early May, roughly a month after the final episode of Titan Takedown.
