Assassin’s Creed Shadows DLC Features a ‘Spookier’ Vibe

In a recent disclosure, the creative producer of Assassin’s Creed Shadows, Jonathan Dumont, shared fresh insights about the upcoming Claws of Awaji DLC. He mentioned that this expansion will offer a more eerie atmosphere and a distinctly unique feel compared to the main game.

Before its launch, Dumont revealed details about the game’s post-release content in an interview with Gamerant. He mentioned that Assassin’s Creed Shadows Claws of Awaji DLC will serve as an extension of the adventure and story for their two main characters. The DLC is said to have a “different atmosphere, somewhat eerie,” he continued.

In addition, Dumont mentioned that Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a conclusive ending, and the events in the Claws of Awaji DLC transpire following the principal narrative of the main game. This implies that there will be plenty for players to delve into after finishing the primary game, as the DLC promises over 10 hours of extra gameplay. In the same interview, Dumont also touched upon the bonus pre-order mission for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, titled Thrown to the Dogs. The creative producer referred to it as a “touching and straightforward side quest,” reminiscent of the additional content we observed in AC Odyssey. The storyline commences with a battered stray dog at a tombstone, leading the main characters to his old home to unearth some “family mysteries,” according to Dumont.
