Ever since its debut in 2009, League of Legends has introduced a staggering 170 unique characters, or “Champions”, to select from, with more on the horizon. This wealth of choices presents a fascinating scenario for players.
We’re here to assist you in finding the gameplay that suits your preferences, brings joy, and helps you progress quickly. Let’s figure it out together!
As fresh choices flow into the Champion pool, the Meta undergoes persistent change, at times even being disregarded entirely.
When choosing a champion for the bot lane, it’s crucial to consider more than just countering your opponent. You should also focus on finding a champion that works well with your laning partner, to create a harmonious and effective duo.
Let’s examine ten formidable Attack Damage Carry (ADC) and Supporter pairings in League of Legends, which can provide you with a competitive advantage.
10. Lucian & Nami
The Double-Buff Duo
Lucian and Nami have a surprisingly powerful team dynamic. Once Lucian uses an ability, his passive, Lightslinger, transforms his subsequent attack into a two-shot strike.
If Lucian is healed or protected, or if an enemy nearby is immobilized, his next two basic attacks will cause extra magical damage.
Nami’s equipment is meticulously designed to maximize the potential of Lucian’s passive. Her Tidecaller’s Blessing enhances Lucian’s attacks with increased damage, while her Ebb and Flow can be utilized for healing purposes and to trigger Lightslinger.
This duo not only complements each other exceptionally, but it’s their blend of mobility, management of crowds, and durability that keeps them relevant over time.
9. Kog Maw & Lulu
The Void Spawn and His Yordle

This powerful combo of Kog Maw and Yordle thrives on Lulu’s skill at sustaining Kog Maw during the initial stages of play. This allows Kog Maw to excel at tearing through adversaries once the laning phase is over.
Because Kog’Maw is not robust and has limited mobility, Lulu proves to be an exceptional ally for him, compensating for these weaknesses.
During trades, protect yourself using Lulu’s Help, Pix! Ability, and at the same time boost Kog Maw’s attack damage. Any enemies attempting to approach you can be transformed, allowing Kog Maw to concentrate on harvesting resources instead.
As a gamer, I find that when Lulu is on my team, she significantly boosts Kog’Maw’s chances of surviving in combat and increasing his trading capabilities. This makes Kog’Maw a formidable opponent to face!
8. Jhin & Morgana
We’d Prefer It If You Didn’t Move

Jhin and Morgana are a powerhouse duo that control their lane with crowd-control.
To triumph in your lane using this combination, focus on building up Morgana’s Q, followed by utilizing Jhin’s W to immobilize your opponents. This setup will offer you chances for Jhin to successfully hit his fourth shot.
Morgana’s Black Shield serves as an ideal solution for Jhin’s limited mobility issues, enabling him to approach enemies without falling victim to Crowd Control (CC). For supports, this shield can be a real headache.
Should Jhin manage to evade being subjected to an ability capable of crowd controlling him, it significantly boosts your chances in the ensuing encounter, offering you a distinct and substantial edge.
7. Draven & Pyke
The Nightmare On Bot Lane

This formidable duo can swiftly overpower their foes through relentless attacks and exceptional agility. Pyke’s hook and stunning combination is an exceptionally powerful opening move, while Draven skillfully exploits his abilities for maximum impact.
Draven’s Stand Aside skill effectively prevents enemies from fleeing during combat. This skill not only inflicts physical harm, but also pushes the opponent away and reduces their movement speed, making it harder for them to escape.
Using Pyke’s hook followed by his stun gives Draven ample opportunity to inflict significant damage.
With his ability, Ghostwater Dive, Pyke is able to move stealthily across the map and significantly influence other lanes. By blending into his surroundings and picking up extra speed, Pyke can swiftly dash towards the mid-lane or the enemy jungle to assist his allies in securing a kill.
6. Janna & Smolder
The Dragon’s Guardian

As a fan, I’d say let’s leverage Janna’s incredible defensive abilities and ensure Smolder is preoccupied with amplifying his strength for maximum wins!
Smolder’s passive skill, called Dragon Practice, allows stacks to build up by either defeating enemies with his Q skill or hitting enemy champions with their own abilities.
As you accumulate more stacks, your fundamental skills become increasingly potent. This is the reason Smolder appears relatively weak at the start, but becomes powerful towards the end of the game.
Janna’s ultimate could dramatically shift the balance in a close team fight. It’s an excellent tactic for separating opponents and safeguarding your allies. This ability gives Smolder a chance to retreat, recover health, and unleash significant area-of-effect damage.
5. Zeri & Yuumi
The Cat Strikes Again

Zeri and Yuumi work exceptionally well together, leveraging their speed and health regeneration abilities, making them a formidable duo in group battles.
As a gamer, I’ve found that mastering the bot lane with Zeri requires understanding her vulnerability during the early game. So, it’s crucial to remain patient, keep a steady focus on farming, and avoid engaging in fights unless necessary.
Due to Zeri’s talent for disregarding terrain and numerous bonuses that boost her movement speed, this duo possesses an exceptional level of mobility and deals significant late-game damage, making it challenging for other teams to counter them effectively.
The Immortal Shieldbow significantly boosts Zeri’s defenses in team fights, while Yuumi’s ultimate offers substantial benefits to your team’s synergy.
4. Miss Fortune & Leona
Press R To Win

In the area of powerful duos, Miss Fortune and Leona are masters of their game. During intense battles, their skillfully timed ultimate abilities can wreak havoc on your opponents.
Or, in a more conversational tone:
When it comes to teaming up for big fights, Miss Fortune and Leona really know what they’re doing. They can use their ultimate skills at just the right moments to deal massive damage to the enemy team.
In simple terms, Leona’s final ability, Solar Flare, freezes the enemies it hits, while Miss Fortune’s ultimate, Bullet Time, inflicts heavy damage over a wide area.
Keeping an eye on critical timers is crucial for success. It’s important to be ready to challenge Drake, Voidgrubs, Herald, or Baron. If you manage to pull off a powerful combo like Bullet Time/Solar Flare and capture the objective, it will significantly shift the tide of the game.
Show some patience and find the ideal moment to throw your combos, use Leona’s top-tier crowd control abilities to protect your carry champions, and watch as the victory begins to unfold.
3. Ashe & Seraphine
Poke Damage Frenzy

If you enjoy challenging your adversaries by inflicting substantial harassment damage and utilizing sluggish capabilities, consider selecting Ashe or Seraphine as your upcoming champions.
Team up Seraphine’s Beat Drop skill with Ashe’s Volley to weaken and hinder your opponents, helping you seize control in the early stages of the game.
With this mix, you’ll maintain the perfect position against your opponents. Dominate the lane using long-range Crowd Control (CC), and use Seraphine’s healing abilities to stay secure while gathering resources.
At level 6, the effectiveness of this combination significantly boosts as it becomes more lethal. Strategically placed Ashe’s ultimate can stun an opponent from a secure position, thereby creating an opportunity for Seraphine to move close enough and successfully deploy her crowd control (CC) skills.
2. Corki & Nautilus
Lane Domination

If you’re aiming to dominate in the laning phase, consider choosing Corki and Nautilus. They both possess strong crowd control, deal significant early-game damage, and have area of effect skills.
Let Nautilus use his hook, absorb some blows with his shield, and provide Corki ample chances to strike. Repeat this pattern until the opposing duo hides near the tower out of apprehension.
Corki excels when facing ADCs with shorter ranges, as these champions often find themselves advancing within the reach of his Gatling Gun to engage in combat.
1. Caitlyn & Milio
Sharpshooting From The Base

If you had the impression that Caitlyn’s abilities were too strong individually, your intuition was correct, but there’s more to appreciate. This combination of her skills wreaks havoc on the bot lane with its enchantments, healing potential, and crowd control abilities.
Caitlyn excels in having the greatest distance for attacking as an ADC, and with Milio’s Campfire Ability providing additional reach to your teammates, you’re able to maintain a safe distance and gradually whittle down your adversaries.
In simpler terms, when Milio uses his Ultra Mega Fire Kick move, it pushes enemies away and makes them move slower. This creates an excellent chance for Cait to place a trap at the perfect spot, increasing our potential damage output.
Range and sustain during lane is your key to victory with Cait and Milio.
