Over the past decade, Krafton’s “PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG: Battlegrounds)” has been pivotal in popularizing the battle royale genre, giving rise to games like “Fortnite” and “Apex Legends.” This online multiplayer game has garnered a substantial following on platforms such as PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and mobile. A significant portion of this audience continues to engage with the game regularly. Despite being eight years old now, PUBG: Battlegrounds remains a key revenue generator for Krafton and attracts close to a million concurrent players daily on Steam alone. In celebration of its eighth anniversary, developers have unveiled several new items set to be introduced into the game.

PUBG: Battlegrounds has unveiled its eighth anniversary celebrations, happening from March 12 to April 7 on PC and March 20 to April 15 on consoles. During this duration, players can use their Krafton ID to log in and click the ‘Join Event’ button to obtain the 8th Anniversary Pack and a Lucky G-Coin Box. Moreover, logging into the game lobby between March 12 to March 25 on PC or March 20 to April 2 on consoles will earn players up to 350 Event Tokens, 200 G-Coins, 70 Contraband Coupons, a Hunter’s Chest, and a Key, as well as specific themed items such as two skins, a victory dance, a nameplate, and an emblem. Additionally, players can expect further rewards from the Token Shop, including Orbital Vanguard skins, themed weapon camos, new victory dances, and more in PUBG: Battlegrounds.
