As a passionate gamer, I’m thrilled to share that the Rainbow Six Siege X showcase has unveiled an exciting new 6v6 game mode called Dual Front! Starting immediately, we have the opportunity to test this mode as the closed beta for R6 Siege X begins right after the stream. Let’s dive in and experience the action firsthand!
What is R6 Siege X’s 6v6 Game Mode, Dual Front?
At the R6 Siege X Showcase, it was unveiled that Dual Front is a fresh 6vs6 game mode featuring an exclusive map. In this mode, teams can strategically mix attackers and defenders while accomplishing changing objectives throughout the map. Additionally, the 6vs6 gameplay in R6 Siege X incorporates respawns, allowing players to reappear as their chosen operator or switch operators for tactical reasons.
The trailer further unveiled certain improvements to the primary Siege gameplay. Notably, viewers can anticipate fresh instances of environmental damage, refined rope-descending techniques, visual polish, a revamped soundtrack, and novel animations such as weapon examination.
In R6 Siege, the 6v6 Dual Front mode is now a permanent addition and introduces an innovative map named District. This fresh, ever-changing layout features two identical fronts, each divided into three sectors. The objective for both teams is to capture one of these fronts while safeguarding their own, moving through the sectors as they advance. The ultimate sector houses a prototype that players must destroy in order to emerge victorious.
In addition, there’s a neutral zone with a limited-time mission that could shift the course of the conflict. With each passing season, a fresh task arrives in Dual Front, bringing new storylines, game mechanics, and updated maps for the neutral sector.
