Pete Dunne’s WWE 2K25 Glitch Will Shock You!

Summary

  • Pete Dunne’s WWE 2K25 singlet has a logo flaw on his right side – a backwards mirrored version.
  • WWE 2K25 has errors beyond Dunne’s gear, like The Rock’s finishing move mishap and misaligned belts.
  • Visual Concepts is working on patches for WWE 2K25 to address the game’s issues.

Some keen-eyed WWE 2K25 players have spotted a weird issue with former Brawling Brutes and New Catch Republic member Pete Dunne’s singlet. Specifically, the Bruiserweight’s hips bear his signature logo in WWE 2K25, and while there’s nothing wrong with the image on his left side, the right side bears a very obvious flaw.

Dunne has been getting a lot of screen time on RAW recently. After ditching the Butch name, having a brief tag team run with Tyler Bate, and feuding with former partner Sheamus in 2024, he’s currently involved with a three-way feud with Ludwig Kaiser and newly arrived lucha libre superstar Penta, who will be added to WWE 2K25 through the Fearless Pack DLC in July.

Being a key figure in one of the RAW midcard’s more prominent active feuds, Dunne may be getting some extra attention from players, but that attention has also drawn players’ eyes to the glaring error printed on his in-game ring attire. His left hip correctly displays his logo, including the words “Pete Dunne” at the top and “Bruiserweight” at the bottom. But similar to the weird typos players have been finding in WWE 2K25, which include misspellings on the ring gear of CM Punk and AJ Styles, Dunne’s right hip shows a mirrored version of the logo. All the words are still there, but they’re presented backwards, leading some fans to cry foul and blame the possible use of AI for the misprint error.

WWE 2K25’s Pete Dunne Shows Yet Another Ring Gear Error

While the misspellings and mirrored text on wrestlers’ clothing have upset some fans by hampering the game’s immersion and authenticity, they’re not the weirdest error associated with wrestlers’ ring gear. There’s a much more glaring problem with WWE 2K25‘s version of The Rock and his People’s Elbow finishing move. In one version of Dwayne Johnson’s iconic character included in the game, when The Rock peels off his elbow pad in anticipation of delivering the most electrifying move in sports entertainment, there’s absolutely nothing underneath, making it look as though his forearm is floating around free of his body.

Players have also taken issue with the relatively newly introduced Women’s North American Championship belt in WWE 2K25. While the belt is free from any typos or mirroring issues, its scaling seems to be way off, making it look enormous around the waists or resting on the shoulders of members of the women’s roster. Although WWE 2K25’s full launch was very recent, developer Visual Concepts has already started dropping patches for the game, so many of these visual issues may be high on its list of priorities.
