FragPunk is a fast-paced FPS experience that takes the best features from its predecessors, such as Valorant. Despite this, some of the usual moves for the genre are missing here or are available only under certain conditions. In this guide, we showcase how to slide in FragPunk.

In the game FragPunk, sliding isn’t a typical action as characters generally don’t have that ability. Yet, players can find multiple strategies to enable sliding and enhance their character’s agility in combat.

How to Slide in FragPunk

First of all, it’s worth noting that Sliding in FragPunk is not the same as Running or Crouching. While the latter two moves are available at any time and are activated by pressing the corresponding keys, to combine them, you’ll have to prepare. More specifically, you must either select Axon Lancer or use the Frozen Wasteland Shard Card to slide.

How to Slide as Axon

While all heroes cannot slide in FragPunk, Axon is an exception. His Electric Guitar allows him to slide while the skill is active. However, he is not one of the available starting Lancers. Therefore, you’ll have to unlock him like the other heroes for 18,888 Gold or 488 FragPunk Coins.

1. Begin the game as Axon.

2. To activate your special weapon, choose the Electric Guitar. This functions like a shotgun.

3. While this ability is turned on, you can slide by pressing CTRL while running.

4. Remember that each kill will prolong the use of the Electric Guitar skill.

How to Slide with Any Lancer

In addition to playing as Axon, there is another way to use the slide move in FragPunk, namely the Frozen Wasteland Shard Card. As its description says, it creates a snowy landscape, the feature of which is the ability to slide.

To execute this move, simply choose the Shard Card and employ it during battle. This allows you to move freely regardless of your selected Lancer. However, be aware that other players can also use this tactic in the game FragPunk as well.

To execute the action similar to that in Axon, press down on the “Crouch” button while you are sprinting. By default, this is usually the “CTRL” and “Shift” keys on your keyboard.

In essence, this slide proves beneficial within the game of FragPunk since it shields you from a potentially lethal attack. Yet, be mindful to not overuse it; remember to make good use of your heroes’ other skills as well.
