In April 2025, some games will no longer be accessible for PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers, as eight popular titles are set to depart from the service next month. Although new games are continually added to PlayStation Plus’ extensive collection each month, Sony occasionally removes certain games after a specific duration, with recent removals including “Kena: Bridge of Spirits” and “Deliver Us Mars.
For March 2025, PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to downloading three new games: “Dragon Age: The Veilguard”, “Sonic Colors: Ultimate”, and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection”. These titles were recently added to the service on March 4th. However, since they are part of the monthly giveaway, subscribers should note that they only have until the end of March to claim each game before they disappear from the service permanently. It’s worth mentioning that while these games are part of the exclusive catalog for Extra and Premium subscribers, they are also accessible to PlayStation Plus Essential members as well.
Starting April 1st, a number of popular games such as “Resident Evil 3”, “Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot”, “Mortal Kombat 11”, and several others from the PlayStation Plus library will no longer be available. Sony has announced that even more highly-rated games are set to leave the service in April, including “Animal Well”, “Tales of Kenzera: Zau”, “Deliver Us Mars”, “Miasma Chronicles”, “Stray Blade”, “Kena: Bridge of Spirits”, “Slay The Spire”, and “Nour: Play With Your Food”. Fans should hurry if they wish to play these games before their removal from the catalog next month.

This week, PlayStation has increased its game library significantly with additions like EA Sports UFC 5, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Mobile Suit Gundam Battle Operation Code Fairy, and more. For those who subscribe to the premium tier, three classic Armored Core games have been added, along with Arcade Paradise VR for PSVR2 users.
Though the main attractions of PlayStation Plus mainly focus on video games and online multiplayer gaming, it’s worth noting that PlayStation Plus Premium subscribers also have access to a diverse collection of films through the Sony Pictures Core app. This feature is often overlooked, but if you’re a premium member, you can stream movies such as Snatch, District 9, Resident Evil: Afterlife, Ghost Rider, Harry Brown, and numerous others. At present, there are approximately 95 films available for streaming.
